Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Hexxa is fully licensed under the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC), and we carry comprehensive public liability, workers compensation, and contractor insurances. All trades we use are appropriately certified and compliant with current legislation.
How do you handle make-good works at the end of a commercial lease?
We review your lease obligations, assess the existing condition of the premises, and prepare a scope that meets both your and your landlord’s expectations.
We then strip out tenant-installed fixtures, repaint, repatch, and restore the property to its original base building condition—ready for handover.
Can you match existing finishes and materials for insurance or repair jobs?
In most cases, yes. We source materials that match your existing layout as closely as possible. If a perfect match isn’t available, we offer alternatives and will always discuss options with you before proceeding—especially when dealing with discontinued or aged finishes.

Can you work after hours or outside normal business hours?
Yes, after-hours works can be arranged. We understand that downtime affects your operations, so we can offer after-hours or weekend scheduling where required, however, this can differ depending on the trades and subcontractors.
This is especially useful for retail tenancies, shared office spaces, and urgent make-good or insurance works.
